Which Beartrap lock do I need?

The beartrap is sold in three different sizes to fit most tool box roll cabs.To confirm you are ordering the correct size you will need to take the following measurements from your toolbox.

Height	Lock to fit	Wheel clearance
13cm	Small Beartrap (Red)	15cm
16cm	Medium Beartrap (Green)	16cm
17cm	Large Beartrap (Orange)	16cm

The below measurement should be checked to ensure your toolbox has wheel clearance and checked against the above wheel clearance measurements.

My toolbox has suspension wheels (i.e. Snap-on EPIQ Series range), will the Beartrap locks fit?

Currently, we don’t have a lock to fit these tool boxes but they are in design so watch this space.

Where can the Beartrap be installed?

The Beartrap can be installed on any sound level concrete surface.

Will the Beartrap lock work with a side locker?

Yes as long as the side locker does not sit lower than the bottom of the main tool box.

If the side locker does sit lower than the main tool box, the Beartrap will still work but the side locker will have to be fitted once the Beartrap is installed.

Can I get a replacement key?

Yes replacement keys can be obtained from any Mul T Lock agent by supplying the duplicate key card supplied with your unit.

What comes in the box?

Box contents:

1 x Beartrap lock
2 x keys with duplicate key card
1 x Replacement key card
1 x Ground anchor bolt kit
1 x Tool box sticker

What warranty does the Beartrap have?

The Beartrap comes with a one year warranty which covers mechanical failure.

What is the returns policy?

All products can be returned as long as its still packaged in original packaging and in as sold condition. The return postage to be funded by the purchaser and not at the cost of Beartrap Security Ltd. Warranty return postage will be refunded in the event of a warranty issue.

What is the postage cost?

Postage is included in the purchase cost.

Can i get replacement ground anchor bolts if i need to move the beartrap?

Yes replacement anchor bolts can be purchased from our online shop.

My toolbox won't fit your locks

If you have a toolbox that our Beartraps wont fit then get in touch to see if we have those sizes in design.

How secure are these toolbox locks?

Beartrap locks have undergone and passed GOLD SOLD SECURE testing. All Beartrap locks are installed with Mul-T-Lock Bullet lock, A high quality, high security market leader with Mul-T-Lock's unique, high-precision pin tumbler system.
